What colour’s can I have for my Fence?

When it comes to staining your timber/wood fence, gate or decking there are many different options for you to pick from. Here is a list of some of the different wood stains available.

  • Red Cedar

  • Mid Oak

  • Clear

  • Silver

  • Light Oak

  • Ebony

  • Dark Oak

  • Antique Pine

  • Walnut

The list goes on. The best place to find wood stains and paints is your local DIY shop or online. We would recommend Ronseal as one of the best manufacturers of timber stains.

To apply the stains or paints you must first make sure the timber is dry so that the stain or paint will take to the wood properly. If it's dry it could do with a light sand over for the best finished product. Once lightly sanded you will need to give it a brush down to get all the dust particles off the area you are wanting to paint for the best quality finish. When applying you can either paint the stain of paint on or use a sprayer for a more even coat/coverage.
