“Sometimes we can’t help but get jealous at some of the views and gardens we’ve worked on. Imagine a morning coffee or an evening beer on that decking.”
When getting a new decking or patio installed you have a few choices to make; What materials could you use? For Decking you could use either treated timber or composite. Treated timber decking is the more commonly used material due to it being cheaper and easier to install. However, it will need maintenance to ensure it upholds the tests of time. With the timber there are plenty of different stain options if you didn't want the traditional look. Composite decking is maintenance free and you can choose a variety of different colours, Just think it and it would be possible, However, as composite decking is a more premium material, This does come with the obvious cost increase. For Patio’s you can use either use concrete flagstones, Indian stone flagstones or porcelain. I personally prefer the Indian flagstones as they complement your garden more and have a more premium finish they also come in a variety of colours. However the porcelain does come with it’s own benefits, there are many more colour’s to choose from and all outdoor porcelain tiles can come with different textures such as matte, smooth and even anti slip.
